- 【Easy to Install】 To install, simply measure up from the base of the door jamb on one side, to desired height ( We suggest just above the deadbolt), mark and pre-Drill the pilot holes (with provided drill bit), then Install the Screws. Repeat on the other side. If there is a slight rub, when the door meets the bracket, you can usually avoid shaving off (mortise) wood to recess the bracket by lightly hammering an impression in the edge of the door, until the rub is gone.
